About Biome
Biome and Biome II are “islands” devoted to the study of biodiversity, classification, bioenergetics, and ecology in the virtual world Second Life. Biome is also the site for graduate courses in science education. Owned by Northern Michigan University it is maintained by Dr. Carolyn Lowe (Clowey Greenwood in Second Life).
